LT Dance Studio’s Ballet curriculum maintains a high standard through implementing the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Syllabus in a supportive class environment. 

BALLET ATTIRE

HAIR: Long hair is to be worn in a tight-bun to every class. Students may choose to
style their hair in a high-bun or low-bun, depending on hair length and personal
preference. Any fringe/bangs must be kept off of the students face to avoid distraction
during class.

UNIFORM: We understand that all of our dancers come in different shapes and sizes,
with that in mind we do not ask that all dancers conform to the exact same style of body
suit. Varied styles may be worn, with any chosen sleeve length, best suited for the
comfort of each dancer. Listed below is a guideline detailing our preference for each
level.

Ages 5 – 7 Years ‘PETITE’

Solid colour Body suit – Pink
Light pink or white tights
Pink leather Ballet slippers (full soled)
Short Ballet Skirt (optional)

MASCULINE
White fitted t-shirt
Black fitted pants/leggings/shorts
Black or white leather Ballet slippers (full soled)

Ages 8 – 11 Years ‘JUNIOR’

FEMININE
Solid colour body suit – Black
Light pink or white tights
Pink leather Ballet slippers (Full soled)
Short Ballet skirt (Optional)

MASCULINE

Ages 11+ ‘INTERMEDIATE’ & ‘SENIOR’
