PILATES
Pilates is a system of movement designed to help prevent and recover from existing injuries as well as enhance your body’s posture and movement patterns. Pilates focuses on coordination, balance, grace, agility, core strength and proper alignment to encourage natural, correct and efficient movement. Regardless of age or fitness level Pilates is a safe way to improve your physical awareness, breathing patterns and overall health and wellness. At LT Dance Studio our instructor incorporates ‘standing’ and ‘mat’ training.
PILATES ATTIRE
You will bring your favourite yoga mat from home and wear clothing that allows you to move freely without restrictions. We recommend tying back long hair and participating with bare feet or socks, shoes are not required.
