Black History Month

Throughout February, we celebrate and highlight black excellence in dance!

CHECK OUT THIS month’s Dance Journal page that introduces some important and influential African American dance figures, along with insights on their significant contributions to the dance genres that we all love and practice! These are being handed out in classes, feel free to print more if you like.

PINK SHIRT WEEK

Together, through our Pink Shirt Week Fundraising TShirt, we raised $94.45 for the CKNW Kids’ Fund to support anti-bullying organizations.

Pink Shirt Day is an initiative to end bullying. From February 24th to March 1st we will be having empowering conversations with our students about the topic. We will be participating in Pink Shirt Day and invite all of our students to wear pink shirts to their classes throughout the week!
