WHAT’S UP AT LTD

Registration for our March Break Programs is NOW OPEN through the Online Parent Portal!

We are excited to announce that we will be running two programs this season:

LIVE THE BEAT HIP HOP DANCE CAMP
During LIVE THE BEAT students will learn Hip Hop foundations, fundamental grooves and social dances along with choreography and performance quality. Each day offers an exciting new activity including a glow light dance party, creative arts and crafting, graffiti art, outdoor games, a pyjama day with an afternoon movie and more! The whole week is wrapped up with a celebration and performance for parents on the last day.
Date: March 13th to March 17th, 2023
Time: 8:30am to 2:30pm
Ages: 6 to 12

INTER-INTENSIVE TRAINING PROGRAM (NEW!)
Intermediate/Senior students will have the opportunity to work on their technique, learn fun, new choreography and continue moving over March Break. This program will include Stretch-Strength-Technique, Jazz Technique and Choreo, Hip Hop Technique and Choreo, Acro Technique and Choreo as well as Tricks Turns & Tech.
Date: March 14th to March 16th, 2023
Time: 4:30pm to 6:30pm
Ages: 11+

March Break programs offer students an opportunity to improve their dance skills in an uplifting environment amongst experienced teachers and dance peers within similar age groups and skill levels. Offering students a wide variety of technical practice and daily amusement, you can’t go wrong with registering for these spring offerings!

Dancers and friends who do not participate in our full-season programs are welcome to register.

Our March programs are always a hit and fill up fast! Register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Pink Shirt Day is coming up on February 22nd, 2023 and we want to show our support here at LT Dance Studio. Pink Shirt Day is an initiative to end bullying. We will be having empowering conversations with our students about the topic and will be participating in Pink Shirt Day at the studio during all classes the week of Tuesday February 21st to Saturday February 25th. 

If you have friends and family that would like to order a pink shirt and do not have an online account with us, please let them know they can contact us via phone or email and we will be happy to process an order for them on our end!

100% of the profits from every pink shirt sold this week will be donated to the CKNW Kids’ Fund to support anti-bullying organizations.

Welcome 2023! We hope you all had a wonderful, rejuvenating holiday break. We are so excited to get back to dance!

Spirit Week is happening now! Students are encouraged to show off their LTD spirit in all classes this week. The theme is Season 10. Wear your LTD merch, LTD colours or paint your face with the LTD Logo. The creative ideas are limitless!

Students will get their name entered in a prize draw each time they attend their classes participating in the event this week.

Little Tot Registration is NOW OPEN for returning families!

You can access registration through the Online Parent Portal by clicking the Register Now button below.

Registration opens to the public on Thursday December 15th at 12:00pm. At this time returning Little Tot families who wish to sign up for a new class for the first time this season may register as well as ALL new and returning families from previous seasons.

We look forward to dancing with your littles in class!

Bring A Friend Week is almost here! Click the Register Now button below to register for a trial and participate!

Tuesday October 25 – Saturday October 29

Dancers are welcome to bring one friend to each of their classes.

Current LTD dancers can trial any class they wish during this week.

We’re also celebrating costume week. Come dressed in a non-restrictive costume! No uniform required.

Draws, prizes and lots of fun will be had!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

There are no classes Saturday October 8th and Monday October 10th

At LT Dance Studio, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all dancers.

Today is September 30th. National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. A day to honour survivors of residential “schools”, their families and communities and remember those who did not survive. Through orange shirt week, it has been our goal to actively promote awareness and help ignite important, meaningful conversations within our community.

To show our respect, there are no classes today. We hope you take some time to reflect and speak with your loved ones about what this day means.

Season 10 has started with a bang! What a wonderful first few weeks together we have had.

Next week marks the start of October and we have lots of valuable programs and fun activities planned for it!
